Aventura Optima
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Award of Excellence
Aventura, FL

Aventura Optima, a LEED Platinum, award-winning project, was designed to integrate architecture and nature, providing native landscaped areas on three different levels. The fifth-level terrace consists of a large fountain with a ‘floating’ wood deck providing a gathering space or seating area for passersby and employees alike. The roof garden offers a tranquil space for users to relax among the rolling landscape forms or exercise using the surrounding track. All materials used for this project come from recycled or reclaimed sources, with the majority produced by local manufacturers.
