The Wharf Marketplace
The Wharf Marketplace project will build on the existing Wharf located near Downtown Miami on the Miami River. This new development includes two 10 story buildings that will house a high-end hotel as well as various retail and restaurant storefronts. SMDS designed the improvements for all outdoor spaces, including planting, paving, site lighting, water features, pool design, and site furniture selections. SMDS aims to create a cohesive outdoor environment that seamlessly integrates the new development to the Miami River’s character while enhancing its cultural outdoor experiences. The Wharf project follows newly codified Baywalk/Riverwalk design guidelines created by SMDS.
