The Miami Beach Golf Course Streetscape Project is designed to recapture the tropical splendor that graced the streetscape in the 1930-1960s. The design “borrows” existing golf course vegetation to create a vibrant display of colors and textures for passersby. Seasonal colors and flowers dominate the streetscape along Alton Road, a major vehicular artery, while native groundcovers, shrubs and palms are used along the residential corridor of the project.
