Loews Convention Center Hotel

Our winning submission for the Loews Convention Center Hotel site plan is designed to create a festive, tropical outdoor oasis, which can be enjoyed by the public and hotel guests alike. The new hotel was sited to create a view corridor from the porte cochere to the pool, beach, and ocean beyond. A promenade, flanked by cascading fountains, descends from the outdoor lobby to the pool deck and gardens. Streetside retail and outdoor spaces with raised terraces and seatwalls are designed to encourage people to “enliven” the street.
