The Master Plan effort culminated in a park design that enhances the growing community’s recreational opportunities, establishes a community anchor, and helps to improve the local ecology while promoting environmental stewardship, giving new meaning to the definition of Homestead Bayfront Park as a Miami-Dade Heritage Park.
The design calls for sustainable design solution and restoration of green space into a bio-diverse ecological habitat. All activities are tied by a network of pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular circulation organized emphasizing an open plaza, the marina with a light house and other activities.
