The Miami-Dade County Department of Parks and Recreation teamed up with Savino & Miller Design Studio to replace the existing playground at Country Village Park with one that promotes ecological awareness and universal design. SMDS created comprehensive playground, planting, and hardscape surface plans to overhaul the playground itself, while also redefining large areas of unused space and generating pockets of nature-based activities to make better use of the entire park.
