The Costa D’Este Hotel is an exclusive boutique hotel located on the Atlantic Ocean in Vero Beach, Florida. Our role at the outset was Project Landscape Architect, but we soon convinced the owners to completely re-work the Site Master Plan. Our Master Plan called for an Entry Arrival and Fountain, set on a center axis, terminating at a circular lobby porte cochere. Parking was redistributed to maximize green space and reduce stormwater runoff with the use of pervious concrete pavers. Our plan also included the Pool and Pool Deck design, fronting the beach. Our services included site master planning, and full landscape architectural services for all open spaces, including Hardsurface/Paving, Water Features, Site Lighting (turtle-friendly), Planting and Irrigation improvements.
